Attorneys Offer Free Legal Advice to Recent Storm Victims

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Members of the Alabama Association for Justice (ALAJ) will offer free legal advice regarding insurance claims and FEMA to those impacted by the recent storms in Alabama. ALAJ has created “Lawyers Care,” a program for Alabama residents affected by the recent severe weather. “Lawyers Care” will match affected individual(s) with a local attorney who can answer insurance-related questions and assist with filing insurance claims and completing FEMA paperwork. English and Spanish-speaking attorneys will be available. “Our hearts go out to everyone impacted by these storms,” ALAJ President Erik Heninger said. “In addition to our thoughts and prayers, we wanted to offer our time to help those during the recovery process.” If you have been affected by the recent severe weather and would like legal assistance, contact the “Lawyers Care” program by completing an online request at www.alabamajustice.org/?pg=WeCare or by phone at (334) 262-4974.

### The Alabama Association for Justice (ALAJ) is a plaintiffs' attorney organization that represents the needs of consumers and businesses seeking compensation through the courts.
